Nokia E7 Review and Specifications

Nokia E7 is a smartphone with qwerty keypad, Active Matrix OLEDs (AMOLED) touchscreen. It has 8 mega pixel camera with dual LED flash, face detection, video stabilization and geo-tagging. The battery has 480 hours standby power and 5 hours talk-time power. While looking at memory storage it has a internal memory of 16 GB, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM.

And other features are that it has bluetooth, SMS, MMS, Email, push email, IM, GPS, GPRS, EDGE, Symbian 3 OS, ARM 11 680 MHz processor, 3d graphics hardware accelerator, Wi-Fi, micro USB v2.0 and USB on-the-go support where the device themselves become the host when connected with another USB device,  3G features include High Speed Downlink Packet Access 10.2 Mbps, High Speed Uplink Access 2 Mbps, MP3/WAV/WMA and MP4/WMV, call recordings upto 30 days, FM, Games, voice command, editors for documents, photos and videos, can be connected to tv through HDMI and other supporting ports, Browsers like RSS reader, HTML, WAP 2.0/xHTML. The phone comes in five colors like orange, green, blue, silver and dark grey.

Nokia E71,E66 – A Complete business phone

Nokia has two mobile phones with more or less same technical specifications and features but with some small difference in dimension and with the data input.Both of these mobiles are exclusively designed for business purposes with many features like sending Emails,connecting to the office intranet using phone as modem,built in GPS features and Ovi maps to find exact places,Document Viewer for Word,Excel,PPT and PDF available in E66 whereas all these files can also be edited in E71.Nokia E71 comes with Full QWERTY Keyboard which for some users make the data input very easy as they will already be used to data inputs using keyboard.

Price of E71 is about $448 and E66 is about $475
In India E66 is costing about 18000 and E71 around 16000.
Since E71 is costing less and it also even QWERTY keyboard you can basically go for E71 itself rather than going for E66

Nokia E72 deliveries begin in Nokia Priority @ Rs 21200

Nokia Priority showrooms have started delivering the much awaited business phone at a price tag of Rs 21200 inclusive of all taxes. Other retailers will have to wait to get the phone. Currently the phone can be obtained by ordering a day in advance and none of the showrooms have extra stoxk, currently they are filling only the pre-order pipeline. Sadly the phone is not available in white/silver combo, even the E71 doesnt have that colour combination any more.

Here are the current prices of the three E Series QWERTY models from Nokia (Nokia Priority , Chennai)
Nokia E72 – Rs 21200
Nokia E71 – Rs 16100
Nokia E63 – Rs 11400

Though the new E series phone Nokia E72 does offer upgrades in camera, and realigned keypad (same as E63) etc the E63 offers the besr value for money, if you are a serious business user.
