Apple acquires Virtual Assitant App Siri

As you know Apple is the most spelled word in today’s mobile market as well as in Tablet computers. But Apple wants you to spell even more in front of its device and may be this is the plan from Apple to buy the small but powerful organisation Siri.

Siri is basically involved in developing some virtual applications mainly voice recognition and search programs.Siri is also involved in developing applications for some millitary activities and you can interact with the phone via voice or text like asking information on weather,route,restaurants and also details on other events.

Siri has also developed some iPhone but it works only in US and also it is used by US Defense advance research project agency.Siri is one of the successful industry with artificial intelligence projects.It seems the acquisition deal could be worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 to $200 million.

Apple is trying to acquire many small and powerful organisations in the recent years in the similar way Google is also doing the same.

Microsoft plans to release ‘Pink’ Mobile devices

After a long rumour since last year Microsoft finally getting ready to unveil its ‘Pink’ mobile devices.The target audience for these devices are just teenagers and young customers.And with the target audience its is clear that it has features mainly aiming at social networks,availability of internet,videos,gaming etc

This new project from Microsoft coded ‘Pink’ is expected to be out by this month.Since Microsoft has already given Windows Mobile with Windows 7 OS it is not going to give the same OS in this pink mobile device.Pink device is completely having a custom built software dedicated for this type of mobile phones

Microsoft will be launching this device by this moth with a partnership with Verizon Wireless and will be released only in US after which they will plan to release in other countries.

However the news about pink devices will be confirmed only on April 12 as they have called up for a meeting “Its time to share”
