Launch of Windows Live Messenger 2011 Beta

Windows is about to launch a new messenger Beta in 2011. So microsoft has announced that the users will be able to download the test version of the new Instant Messenger code named Wave 4 in June.
This new IM version is social network enabled that allows the users to chat on social networking sites such as MySpace, LinkedIn Facebook and so on.

The current version of Windows Live Messenger was released in January 2009. The new version includes simple privacy settings and also default sharing is disabled.

It is expected that 22 million French users will be prompted to download the public beta version from 2011 to the month of June in France, until the final few weeks.

Microsoft’s new employee bus!!!

Microsoft is a veteran software company, best known for its Microsoft Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office suite of productivity software. Microsoft operates in 139 countries with a  manpower of 135,000 employees (2010). Hence Microsoft did not want to waste their manpower in cheap traffics. Hence it has come up with an excellent idea to save both time and manpower. Microsoft recently started bus service for employees. Employees can start work from the bus itself and their office hour’s counts from the time they start work in the bus. Traffic jam in cities is quite normal and company do not want to waste the time of the employees in roads. This is an initiative by Microsoft. The employees are satisfied with this work from bus program. Take a look at the bus!!!!

The bus looks cool and luxurious however the bus inside looks like a typical workplace.

Its not Virus affecting the PCs worldwide,Antivirus too…

Computers in companies,schools and hospitals arond the world got struck repeatedly after rebooting themselves on wednesday after and antivirus program identified a normal windows file as a virus.
McAfee Inc.. Confirmed that the software update it posted at 9AM EST is causing this problem.McAfee could not say how many computers were affected but judged by postings,it seems it runs into thousands.The Victims include the National Science Foundation Headquarters in US as well as Intel Corporation.McAfeer said the problem did not appear in the consumer versions of the software.It is investigating how the error happened and will take measures to prevent it from recurring.
The Computer problem forced about thirds of the hospitals in Rhode Island to postpone elective surgeries and stop treating patients without traumas in emergency rooms.Many people is of the view that it is a virus when actually the update version of the Antivirus software has caused this problem.McAfee has posted the replacement download for this problem.
