Much awaited news on Intel Six core Processor

Though Intel has not officially released the news on Intel Six-core Intel Gulftown with version i7 980X, many websites have already started publishing news . This kind of reaction is quiet similar to the one that happened on AMD Six core processor. 

Now coming to the features of Intel Gulftown core i7 980X as the name says it will have six core with the ability to handle twelve processing threads and it will be clocked at 3.333GHZ.

Its going to be the first 32nm Processor after the quad processor and its picture is shown below

It is expected that the processor wll be released in the first quarter of 2010 and even almost all the IT enabled industried can expect for the release of such high performing processors so that they in turn have good turnover.

Common Laptop problem gets its first complaint filed against HP

Shangai Reuters Today in China has filed a Case against HP for the video cards getting overheated damaging the laptops on the whole.Around 100 users of HP are facing the same problem and has gathered today to file the complaint.

But most of the laptop technicians suggest not to place laptop on the leg and place it only on flat surface as it may block the vent.This seems to be a controversy against the device name “laptop” by itself.

US Electronics major Newegg ships Counterfeit Intel Chips

Newegg, the California based online electronics retailer had shipped hundreds of counterfeit Intel Core  i7 920 processors to its customers over the past couple of weeks. The Intel Core i7 920 processor being a premium and high end processor is now only in its very first revision. The counterfeits were reported by  some users by the Spelling mistakes in the packages of the Processor, typically most counterfeits from China do have these typos in their packaging.

Since then Newegg has banned one of its suppliers IPEX who had supplied these counterfeit chips. Below are some pictures from Overclockers forum.
