Opportunity for Freshers and Software Engineers in India

US companies were facing recession last year and this year its picking up and getting its position back from recession.But now some of the European countries are facing recession and hence there will not be many projects coming out from European countries.But as far as India is concerned you can see some of the new projects coming out from some clients across globe mainly from US.

Now who is getting more chance in these new projects?
Freshers are not hired as they were done in the past years.Most of the big giant companies like TCS,HCL,WIPRO are trying to pick people with some good experience atleast for the year of two.So now people with around 2 to 4 years experience are having some good openings in these big giant companies.
Not only in big giant companies but many openings are getting arised even in middle tier and small companies.
Freshers too have some openings but not as good as the experienced candidates.

So candidates with 2 to 4 years experience are having good openings and its a good time to look in for a shift with the company so that its easy to get some very good hike if you are not in par with the industry salary standards,Even if you are with the industry standards it will still be easy to get good hike if your performance is good in the interviews

Nowadays people with 2 to 4 years experience looking for a job will not have a tough time to get an offer and there is considerably a good job openings in many of the good companies.

Microsoft releases Hot Mail with competitive features

Its been a long time since Hotmail has gone for a change in its features and it was less attractive when compared to Google though Hotmail still stands as a leading email service provider world wide and also stands second in the email service in US after Yahoo.It will not be apt to say that Hotmail is going to have some additional features instead its better to say that Hotmail is undergoing some revision in the whole application.

Hotmail is going to add almost all features available in Gmail and also in Yahoo.Hotmail is now providing increased storage, spam detection, conversation threading (though not by default), integrated chat, and a better mobile experience on platforms such as BlackBerry and Nokia but no to social media features.In the UI end Hotmail is providing features like mail filtering, enhanced media viewing, and document-editing features.

Features

With Microsoft bringing up Document WebApps its now easy to view and edit the document in Hotmail too even without opening the same in a new window.There is also a good and innovative slide show tools fo attached photos in the email and links to albums.Videos can even be embedded into mail contents.Videos will generally be from YouTube,Hulu and Justin.TV.There is also a sidebar to easily add photos, maps, and info such as movie times from the Web. Its now easy to delete/block messages by filtering some specific unwanted senders.
If you are in need to view all messages from a specific sender then you can see that in just one click.If you click on the name you will have the option of viewing all messages from specific sender.

Some Features can be Drawback for some Users

The first main drawback could be hotmail has set some expiration period by which photos stored will be deleted in a three months time.That means photos that are access through cloud or even in mails will be deleted in three months time as Hotmail feels that Users will just view the images and will not relook later.Although the limit for total size of photos in a single message is now going to be 10 gigabytes which is a very huge one its not good to remove the photos in a three months expiration period.

HP Acquires Palm – leading Mobile Manufacturers in US

Though Palm has considerably a significant improvement in their products and its WebOS phones are available with almost all leading mobile carriers in US but had a disappointing quarterly results, early this February.The CEO of the company Jon Rubinstein started to investigate its options and decided on selling the company would be a feasible and better option.Initially board of directors were having an option to sell only the patents of Palm or even just licensing WebOS but later decided that all the previous options may degrade value of Palm IP and may not even adress long term problems.

Many companies started to grab this opportunity and approached palm for a deal.Finally, some top 5 countries were shortlisted for the deal and HP was one among the top 5 companies.So after Palm decision on selling the company, 4 other companies along with HP started its bidding.Other than HP all the companies were just referred as Company A,B,C and D.Companies like C and D were initially engaged only with just buying the patents but since Palm dropped out the option company D also dropped its plan.Company A approached with $600 million in cash and Company B apporached with stock by stock option.HP approached Palm with a different offer which is all around $4.75 per share.

During April 18 Company C entered into similar kind of HP deal and offered around $6 to $7 per share.So Palm asked HP to really just increase its bidding value and hence HP came with just a small increase of about 25 cents which is nothing but $5 per share.

Now Palm on April 19 sent out some draft merger to both of the companies.With HP increased its share to $5 Company C dropped out its share to just $5.50.Palm
Board of directors Palm directly told HP that its offer was not competitive with which HP immediately raised its offer value to about %5.70 per share and there after Palm closed the deal following Company C’s drop from the proposal.
