The phone is definitely a slim one in its league also very light weighing at 94 g. And its screen is bright and as you would expect from a capacitive touch screen, doesnt support multi touch etc.
But Samsung Corby comes preloaded with variety of Apps for the internet hungry youth, Orkut,MySpace,Facebook, Twitter,Yahoo messenger,google Talk, gmail , youtube, Flickr,Picasa to name a few. It comes with 27 widgets preloaded and you can still download 75 more from samsung site for free.

Download Samsung’s PC Studio suite, this phone runs on that, well mine does, oh by the way, this phone has 3G here in New Zealand on the Vodafone NZ Network.

I have s3653(samsung) phone , and I m not able to charge it from USB port. However when I connect it to USB( even for 2 hrs), it shows charging but when I disconnect it battery doesnot gets charged.
I faced the same problem. Googled about it and got two solutions.
This is on Samsung CORBY
Solution 1:
On the phone go to Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connections, in that select Mass Storage and save it. After doing this plung-in the USB cable. Now it gets charged fully in 3 hours.
Solution 2:
Simply switch-off the phone and plug-in the cable and it gets charged within 3 hours.

compatibility issue!!! Cannot be connected to a PC with the windows 7 OS. No PC studio can help you do that. If anyone knows better- I will be glad to learn.

uninstall all samsung drivers and pc studio frm ur lappy or desktop
and den install the pc studio and drivers of samsung Metro 3600 phone
restart ur pc after uninstalling the older pc studio nd even installing the new one too

I want to use wifi..but how do I connect?
I have a samsung corby s3650. Currently I am on a trip and I didn’t carry my travel charger for recharging mobile. I try to recharge it by connecting the data cable USB port with a laptop PC, but it’s not recharging as it appears (battery indicator moves but it doesn’t get charged). I’m trying hard to fine out if this data transfer cable USB wire is also used for recharging purpose or not. But I can’t fine an answer. Please tell me if I can recharge mobile with this data cable using USB port or it’s not possible.

I have a samsung corby s3653 phone.The problem is when i save a name with a mobile number, it wont display the name when Im getting a call from that number.But if I ommit the zero infront of the number and save it in the phonebook, I can view the name when a call is comming.
But again I only can see the name of the sender of a SMS if i save a number with the Country code.
Im totally lost with saving the numbers in the phonebook..Please I would like to know a fix for this…

Down load the software Samsung PC suite from samsung india website. It has by default USB driver embedded in it. It worked for me.
